Our vision is to live in a life-affirming community where every baby has a chance to be born.
PRC helps people make fully-informed decisions regarding sexuality, unplanned pregnancy, abortion and abortion alternatives. PRC annually serves more than 8,000 young women facing unplanned pregnancies, through five medical centers in Tri-County Portland, providing free pregnancy tests, peer counseling, complete factual information on all options, ultrasound to verify a viable intrauterine pregnancy (23% of pregnancies end in miscarriage), practical resources such as clothing and furnishings, plus referrals to more than 70 area organizations that can help with virtually any challenge our clients are facing. PRC is privately funded, primarily by individual donations.
